Buckminster Fuller synergetic theory
The goal of this project is to create a set of tangible, interactive, dynamic objects to allow for a direct understanding of the relationship between symmetrical polyhedra (octahedron or icosahedron), type (alternate or triacon) and frequency of polyhedra subdivision, angles of radii for vertices and resulting chord factors (lengths of subdivided triangle edges) which determine the construction method of a geodesic sphere or dome. By changing the measurement in one factor, the change will be seen across linked factors and the system as a whole.
The end result (May, 2012) will be a spherical tangible interface which will allow for the interaction design.
